Details: OK, LET’S START HERE WITH THIS RE-LISTING:OK, THANKS TO THOSE E-BAYERS AND THEIR PERSONAL FEEDBACK REGARDING THE AMP….I RESPECT THE FACT THAT ANYONE MAY BE RIGHT REGARDING THE CLAIM THAT THIS WAS, IS, NEVER WAS, NEVER COULD BE, BRIAN MAY’S AMP. I AM CERTAINLY NOT CLAIMING IT WAS. VIEW MY FEEDBACK- I DO NOT HAVE A SINGLE NEGATIVE MARK, NOR A DISHONEST BONE IN MY BODY. I HAVE SIMPLY REPEATED WHAT WAS TOLD TO ME BY WAY OF THE E-BAYER THAT I PURCHASED THIS FROM (WHOSE LISTING HAD WELL OVER 40 BIDDERS AGAINST HIS 1000s OF 100% FEEDBACK- WHICH IS WHY I BOUGHT IT IN BLIND TRUST) AND THE FELLOW WHO I TOOK IT TO TO INSPECT IN-VIVO.LET IT NEVER BE SAID THAT I AM TRYING TO BE DECEITFUL PURPOSELY (IT WAS MY CHOICE TO REMOVE THE BRIAN MAY NAME FROM THE LISTING HEADER HERE IN THIS LISTING, AND NOT FORCED TO DO SO). IF IT IS YOUR BELIEF THAT SOMEONE HAS BEEN DECEITFUL IN THE REPRESENTATION OF THIS AMP, DO ME A FAVOUR AND EMAIL THE FELLOW I BOUGHT IT FROM AT SO THAT WE CAN RID ANY SNAKE OIL SELLERS FROM EBAY TOGETHER: Click For Email YOU.1968 VOX AC30You are looking at an Original, Vintage, 1968 VOX AC30This is not a re-issue….I purchased this amp approximately 9 months ago from a fellow reputable- in my opinion-(i.e., 1000s of feedback 100% positive) E-bayer in England. The only reason I am selling it and my other items (be sure tho check those out as well!) is to offset the cost of a vintage guitar. The picture in this listing is of the seller I purchased the amp from with Brian May, from whom he took possession of this amp- this is what was noted in HIS listing. After taking possession, I did my best to authenticate his claim.Beyond the writing on the amp (which you should be able to clearly see in the pictures, I took the amp to a local amp guru… He is the manager of the largest guitar chain in Canada and a Brian May fanatic). His opinion is that this amp belonged (or could have belonged- my words added here so not to convey how convinced he actually was) to Brian May by way of its wiring.. Beyond the technical jargon that he related, he noted in the most simplest terms that Brain May had a certain manner in which his amps were wired… and that this VOX AC30 was wired exactly the same way… He happens to own a Brian May (Originally Owned by) which I assume he used as his basis of comparison along with any other knowledge he may have used to deduce this. In any case, if you are interested in speaking to him, you can find him at the Long & McQuade Bloor Street Store in the guitar department in Toronto, Ontario, Canada… His name is Rick…….
