Details:  1970 MARSHALL MAJOR AMP!NO RESERVE and FREE SHIPPING!ITEM: For your consideration is this vintage 1970 Marshall Major Amp. The Marhsall Major was introduced in 1967 as the Marshall 200 (in reference to the wattage of the amplifier), but was later nicknamed “The Pig” by David Bowie guitarist Mick Ronson. Ronson and a number of other guitarists swore by this amp. After the design was modified so that it was wider, in order to comply with the standard 100W amplifier head width, it was renamed the Major in early 1968. To accommodate extra components to facilitate the unusual 200W power, the Major was taller than 100W amplifier heads. It had two channels and four inputs. It used four KT88 output valves, two ECC83 preamp valves, and a single ECC82 preamp valve. Approximately 1200 of these amps were produced from 1968 to 1974 when it was discontinued. This particular example has been slightly modified. The original logo is broken in half. It was recently serviced and it works and sounds great. Vox ac4 Vintage early 60’s all original excellent

Details: You are looking at a beautiful early 60’s Vox AC4. It is difficult to date these with serial numbers but because of the cabinet shape etc. it is early 60’s. Nothing has been changed on this amp as you can see from the pictures. The interesting thing about this one is there is no Vox logo on the front. It is ALL original and there is NO song of there ever being a Vox logo there. The logos were applied at different location so i don’t know how this happened. The JMI Vox serial plate on the back shows what this is. i have a Vox logo and always toyed with putting it on but this may make this rare. I have had this amp for 15 years and it was given to me by my father. I have an ac 30 as well and know these amps pretty well. It sounds great and works perfectly. Details:  Magnatone Troubadour 213 Guitar Amp, Vintage 1957, 112 combo, approx. 18 pure tube watts, with foot switch (not sure if foot switch is original Maggie, definitely vintage). Some minor dings are visible in a couple of corners, the leather handle has some cracks but feels solid, there are some scratches on the metal control panel, particularly at the input jacks. Chassis and cabinet are solid, nothing loose or broken, four feet are in place, all parts appear to be original. Power cord updated to grounded 3-prong.She is in excellent condition, especially considering she is 57 years old,  and sounds even better. Almost dead quiet at idle, strong, loud and clean until about 75 % or 80% of maximum loudness and then it starts that warm tube breakup. You don’t need pedals, but she loves pedals. Everything works perfectly, including the legendary Magnatone Vibrato. If you have never heard a vintage “Maggie” please check the reviews of this Model 213 on the web. This particular model has been long  regarded as one of the best tone machines available. It already sounded great with absolutely no issues, but because I am selling it I just sent it to an amp tech for a going through. He thoroughly tested it and cleaned all jacks, pots, and tube sockets, installed new output tubes, burned them in and bias checked.I play Fenders and Gibsons through this. It brings out the best in anything. I have not owned her nearly long enough and hate to part, but I have to for now. Please check my other listings for other vintage gear as I am forced to move a few things along. Details: 1963 Vox AC30 Combo - Copper Front Panel - Much sought after mid-late 1963 Vox AC30 in ggod condition with copper front panel, brass vents, blue Celestion speakers and Haddon transformers.  The main part of the amp casing has been professionally recovered with replica basket weave tolex, brown diamond speaker cloth, and case hardware to the original specification (without plastic corner protectors).
